A little history of our rugs
Small factories have been making braided rugs in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains for the last 100 years. They imitate the rag rugs made by the early settlers on the east coast of America, and are a true design classic.
But more than that, they are beautiful to look at, and tremendously practical as well. The rugs we sell are the real thing, and are uncompromising in their quality.
The yarns are spun, dyed into a rainbow of colours, and then woven into braids. Sewn by artisans who often sign their work, the rugs are then ready to send out.
