We are proud to add to our collections this range of 'eco' braided rugs. Having searched for quite a while, we are delighted with the quality of these rugs.
A little bit about jute.
Jute is a remarkable fibre. It is a sustainable yarn, and can be harvested up to three times a year. It is biodegradable, and compostable too! Jute is one of the toughest natural fibres available, so durability is guaranteed. It needs no pesticides to grow, so is totally organic.
Jute fibres can withstand commercial use, and can last a lifetime in the home. Naturally water resistant (they are a reed) makes them suitable for all kinds of areas in the house. If jute is spun very finely, it can mimic silk as it so soft - so a jute rug is very soft underfoot.
We have had them made in beautiful colours, and if you like them, then we will certainly add to the range in the future.

Jute Carnival A really colourful, jolly rug. A wide range of primary colours on a neutral background has made this rug a winner.
