We can ship internationally. If you would like to place an international order please contact us either by email mail@braided-rug.co.uk or call us +44 1654 767248. Please note, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are considered as outside of the UK.

Organic Jute Braided Rugs: We recommend surface cleaning with soap and water, you can be quite thorough with this. Avoid saturating the jute with water, the colours will not run, but they do take a very long time to dry and the jute can wave slightly if left wet. If you chose to machine wash your smaller rugs on a cool wash, you do so at your own risk! Of course, you can hoover and you can also dry clean them.

American Braids (excluding Pale Gold & Colony Blue): You can put them in the washing machine on a cool/wool wash. They will feel pretty dry when they come out, and just dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.  Larger rugs can be washed at the launderette, or surface cleaned with a steam cleaner. For regular care, just vacuum and turn regularly. You may also dry clean.

American Braids (Pale Gold and Colony Blue): As a 100% wool rug, we would suggest dry cleaning. Spot clean with soap and water.

The rugs don’t slip badly at all, due to the fact that they quite heavy.  For smaller rugs, you could put a piece of anti-slip underneath.

I’m afraid that we don’t have samples, as such.  Please do call us to discuss though, if you are looking to buy a larger rug we could potentially send you a smaller product in that colourway.

Yes. Our rugs will not transfer colour onto carpets or flooring.

Yes, our rugs are double sided and so can be used on both sides.

We recommend keeping the rugs out of strong direct sunlight.  They are natural products and so there will be some fading if exposed to bright light for prolonged periods.

We frequently make custom sized rugs for customers.  Please email us with your measurements to get a quote.

If there is a product that you would like to purchase that is showing ‘out of stock’, please register your email on the product page and you will receive a notification when it comes back in.  We have new deliveries every 4-6 weeks and our stock is replenished regularly.  Please do email us with any specific questions or timeframes.
